There are a variety of options when considering where to stay in Budapest. One alternative to the hotels, backpackers and hostels on offer is to rent an apartment. You can stay for a few days or a few weeks and it will usually work out cheaper than most other forms of accommodation and you have the freedom that comes with your own place. We supply all the basic utilities you need and even equipped kitchen, phone and satellite TV, etc..! The apartment is situated very close to public transport, major attractions and shopping districts. The very central location and the proximity to the underground stations and numerous tram and bus lines make the apartments a prime choice for those looking for convenience and comfort. Historical and cultural attractions as well as the business and shopping centre of Budapest are within walking distance. Below, we have tried to answer some of the questions prospective holiday-makers most frequently ask; we hope the information will be helpful to you. Where is the apartment? What is the locality like? The apartment is situated in one of the most popular buildings of Budapest, called "Kleopatra House". This house is located in Karpat utca, beside of Danube river, near to Margaret Island and close to Margaret Bridge. There are six independent buildings around a large, green common garden. This garden is simply beautiful, there are a lot of benches, fountains & flowers etc...,it is an ideal place to relax. Under the garden, on the level of garages there is a beautiful swimming pool with hot tub, sauna, jacuzzi, sunbeds, barbecue, and a gymn room. You can use these services from 6.00 am till 10:00 pm for a low price. The offered apartment is on the 3rd floor (there are two elevators), it has a great view to the beautiful garden and the street, too. What does the accomodation comprise of? This is a comfortable, delux apartment which includes a fully equipped, american style kitchen (built in fridges, stove, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster, dishes, glasses, kitchen utensils, etc..), a bedroom ( one double bed - all bed linen provided ), a spacy bathroom ( gray - blue marble, bathtub, shower, sink, washing machine, electrical dryer, ventillation, entrances to the bedroom and to the hall also ), a separated toilet, a large, light, friendly livingroom connected with the kitchen ( mahagoni colour furniture, openable sofabed for two persons, armchairs, table, computer corner, Sat-Tv, telephone, visible glass wall and exit to the large terrace ) and a spacy, sunny terrace (sunbeds, table, flowers , view to the garden, faces to east and south ). To have a breakfast or a dinner out on the terrace is a very pleasant feeling ! What about public transport? The location of the apartment is just perfect, the blue Danube river is just 200 meters far fom the house, the trolleybus 79, which stops right outside the house, takes you to the Square of Heroes, to City Park, to Margaret Bridge or to the international railway station, called Keleti Pu. The Underground is only four blocks away, and a major roads with other buses and trams are just five minutes walk from the apartment. What facilities are there in the vicinity of the apartment? Simply everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. A bank, post office, supermarket and laundry are all situated close to the building. Great local restaurants, the famous Westend City Center, a five stars Spa Hotel with deluxe bath and fitness center, a vegetable market, a McDonalds, a jazz cellar, pubs and clubs, a breakfast bar, and an Irish pub are all just a stone’s throw away. How about security? The apartment is in one of Budapests’s most distinguished, upper-middle-class areas. It’s perfectly safe to stroll through the neighbourhood all night. The front gate of the house is always kept locked, and the apartment itself is fitted with a special lock for your added security and peace of mind. The building has a reception desk.
