Twenty miles due west is the town of Granville where you can take a day trip to Jersey, visit the Christian Dior museum or, enjoy the fabulous beaches at Jullouville with it’s miles of flat sand and warm shallow waters. There are many other places of interest within a short drive; Mont Saint-Michel, St Lo, Bayeux, Coutances, Avranches and of course all the D-day beaches, museums and memorials.
